Take Six

Genesis Chamber Series
16-19 May 2026
Flinders | Warragul | Melbourne

Genesis Baroque presents two pillars of the string sextet repertoire, exploring the genre’s broad expressive palate; from lush and dramatic, exuberant and effervescent, to deeply intimate.

Featuring Mozart’s beloved Sinfonia Concertante K.364, arranged for string sextet and published posthumously in 1808 as the Grande Sestetto Concertante, and Brahms’ grand, romantic first string sextet.
