Jennifer is a Melbourne-based period and modern violinist who has a rich and diverse range of experience, and performs regularly with a number of ensembles including the Orchestra of the Antipodes (Pinchgut Opera), the Australian Romantic and Classical Orchestra (ARCO), Accademia Arcadia, and the Melbourne Chamber Orchestra. She has also performed with the Wallfisch Band, Ludovico’s Band, as a chamber soloist with ARCO, as soloist with the Melbourne Baroque Orchestra, and as a guest artist with Latitude 37. Jennifer has been involved in numerous live and studio recordings for ABC Classics.
Jennifer received her Bachelor of Music (Hons) at The University of Melbourne with first class honours in performance, and has continued with many years of private study and masterclasses on period violin with teachers in Australia and Europe including Catherine Mackintosh, Davide Monti, Elizabeth Wallfisch, Julia Fredersdorff, and Rachael Beesley.
Jennifer also has a doctoral degree in forensic psychology and maintains an active private practice as a clinical psychologist. She has also completed a Master of Philosophy investigating psychosocial developmental factors associated with the development of music performance anxiety, and she has a keen clinical interest in this area.
